What should the drawing be about?

Here are some ideas to get your child inspired:

  • Draw a world where everyone feels safe and happy, no matter who they are, where they come from or who they love
  • Draw how you like to celebrate different cultures
  • Draw a time that you were kind to someone else (or someone was kind to you!)

Feel free to encourage your child to create artwork that celebrates inclusion and diversity. This could include themes like supporting First Nations, LGBTQIA+, and culturally and linguistically diverse communities, or any other positive expression of our shared human rights!

Drawings should be done on A4 paper, in landscape

Submissions close on Sunday 3rd November. Don’t miss out!

Prizes

  • Top 11: We’ll choose 11 drawings to feature in Amnesty’s 2025 Calendar of Hope. These artists will each receive a free A5 copy of the calendar.
  • On Wednesday 6th November, we’ll invite our social media community to vote for the winner out of 3 finalists.
  • Grand Prize: The winning drawing will be featured on the front cover of Amnesty's 2025 Calendar of Hope and the artist will receive a $250 voucher to spend at Kinya Lerrk, a First Nations-owned gift store.

Important information for parents

If you’d like your child to be credited in the calendar, please provide their first name and age in the form. By doing so, you agree to have your child's first name and age displayed alongside their artwork. We'll also display the artist statement and Traditional Place name based on the address you provide.

We ask for your contact details and address so we can send you the voucher and/or calendar if your child is selected. This information will not be shared publicly.
